Basics of Wedding Planning Course
Lecturer: Michele Li
‘Basics of Wedding Planning’ is for anyone who is curious about wedding planning and is interested to learn more during this 30 hour diploma course. Students will be guided through the basics of wedding planning by Michele Li, founder of The Wedding Company. Having planned hundreds of luxury weddings, Michele has experienced every conceivable situation relating to matrimonial-day management and will share her knowledge and practical advice within a structured learning environment.
The course covers the different types of wedding ceremonies and their traditions. It also introduces the types of wedding vendors and their selection criteria. Students will learn from real case studies and apply practical solutions to the real issues faced by wedding planners, rather than hypothetical textbook-based theories. Upon completion of the course, students will better understand the true roles and many responsibilities of a wedding planner, understand the various components that make up a successful wedding and be able to identify and select the right wedding vendors for a wedding.
This course is a pre-requisite for the Professional Wedding Planning course.
